About Speaker: 

Kris Puthucode has over 18+ years of experience in the IT industry. He has been working over the past several years with a diversity of companies including Fortune 500’s, Big Five Consulting Firms, Blue Chips and prominent outsourcing suppliers in all areas of software engineering, quality and process management. Kris started his early career as a software engineer at the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC and then moved on to the IT Quality and process area. He has been working most of his career then and so far in the USA. Kris’s wide job experiences include companies including GTE (now Verizon), PriceWaterhouseCoopers, CSC, and Department of Electronics, India. Some of his work has been in companies including Rockwell Automation, SAP, The Centech Group Inc., General Electric (GE), GTE Government Systems, CSC, Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) of the Indian Ministry of Defence, Larsen and Toubro and a host of over 35+ SME companies worldwide. As an SEI Authorized Lead Assessor, Kris has led several SEI CMM & CMMI assessments, and has over 40+ formal SEI Authorized Appraisals to his credit, many of those being high maturity (Levels 4 and 5) appraisals. He has been an excellent trainer and has trained over 5000+ people in several companies in many advanced topics in software quality, high maturity and statistics, and process in continents across the world. Today Kris works as a consultant, trainer and lead assessor with over 50+ companies including the Defense & commercial organizations to help them improve their product quality reduce rework and defects through process improvement. Kris has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (with Statistics major) from India and a Master’s Diploma in Software Quality Management from UK.
