Mr. Pramod Jain will take us through Project costing process, explain the various elements involved in it along with the best practices in this process, calculating Gross Profitability Margins, explain us the challenges in monitoring this activity. He will also touch upon budgeting and expense management best practices (as inputs for project costing).
Mr. Pramod Jain is a Practicing Chartered Accountant by profession and a nationally acclaimed Corporate Trainer in the fields of Finance and Motivation. Mr. Jain, in all has eleven formal qualifications to his credit. It includes MBA in Finance and Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Company Secretary (FCS), Cost & Management Accountant (AICWA), Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Analysis (PGDFA), Bachelor of Law (LL.B), Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He has over 20 years' rich corporate experience at middle and senior level with Indian and multinational companies handling various aspects of Accounts, Financial Administration and Control, Company Law, Costing, Audit, Taxation, Financial Re-engineering and Corporate Restructuring. He has authored three books on Finance, Accounts and Costing for management students and contributed numerous articles to Management Journals and presented Papers in Seminars and Conferences organised by various professional bodies such as ICAI, ICWAI, ICFAI and ICSI. Besides, he has conducted numerous functional and personal productivity improvement programmes for the corporates all over the country. He is a passionate walker and have run in many of the Pune Marathons. An active member of Rotary International, he is also a life member of Indian Golf Union and plays golf in his spare time. A regular practitioner of Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation, he is associated with Patanjali Yogpeeth and presently teaches Pranyog of Baba Ramdev to the Pune Rural Police Personnel.
